PREMIUM CRYSTAL RESIN
Crysin UV is a premium hybrid UV/LED curable resin.
This multi-purpose resin products are suitable for both casting (maximum depth per cure should not exceed 1cm) and doming jobs.
You can choose from a wide range of Crysin UV products depending on your project.

Viscosity: Low

Its watery viscosity makes it suitable to be used in a complex mould for casting work.
Close to odour-free and is suitable for sensitive users. May show some yellowness immediately after curing but the clarity comes back as time lapses.

UV LED (72w): 1-5 minutes
UV lamp (365nm): 2-6 minutes
Natural light: 5-15 minutes
Natural light (on a cloudy day): 20-40 minutes
* Curing time may defer depending on the size of the work surface and color.
* some smoke may occur when using UV LED or UV lamp for curing .
* If the application surface feels sticky, additional curing is required.
FAQ
Q: How long is the curing time?
A: It may vary depending on the type of lamp and the thickness of the surface
but in general cure for 2-3 minutes and cure some more if the surface feels sticky.
Q: Can the surface be cured without using a lamp?
A: Crysin UV can be cured under the natural light however it takes much longer
to cure and there may be uncured spots so using a lamp is recommended.
Q: I have cured for a long time but the surface is not curing completely.
A: As mentioned above, using a lamp is recommended for curing process.
Also, an excessive usage of colorant may obstruct the light penetration and
hence a difficulty in curing. Recommended quantity of colorant is 1% of the
total quantity.
Q: I can see some smoke during curing. Is this okay?
A: The photoinitiator in Crysin UV may cause some smoke to occur however
this is a natural reaction during curing.
Q: Does the surface become hard after curing?
A: Crysin UV is a hard resin and becomes solid and hard after a complete cure.
Q: Does Crysin UV have any odor?
A: Crysin UV and Crysin UV Heavy may have some odor. Cyrsin UV Eco and Crysin UV Eco Light is our odorless premium resin products. It is close to odor-free and is suitable for sensitive users.
Q: Can Crysin UV be used indoors?
A: Crysin UV can be used indoors however a frequent ventilation is
recommended.
